The 2024rd Annual General Meeting of the Japanese Association of Public Health was held in Sapporo from October 10 to 29, 31. We welcomed over 83 attendees to the event, which was a great success.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all staff of the Department of Public Health, Graduate School of Medicine, Hokkaido University.

The Japanese Association of Public Health has established a new "Cooperative Member" system with the aim of lowering the barriers to participation in the society's activities by exempting membership fees for those who are interested in the society's activities.
The target is members of societies affiliated with the All Japan Federation of Social Medicine Associations, members of societies that are constituent societies of the Japanese Association of Social Medicine Specialists, and employees of national or local government organizations who have not yet joined our society.
